All in all, planning a car trip to beautiful Myrtle Beach is a good decision, regardless of the season you choose. There is no bad season here, so pack up your car and come on!
1) Stay in a Historic Downtown Vacation Rental: Because of the down real estate market, many families who couldn’t sell their homes have converted them into vacation rentals to pay their notes. So, there are plenty of comfortable and well-located vacation rentals available in the Historic District.

Hamptons consists of mainly two towns, Easthampton and Southampton. Both these towns are very much suitable for a comfortable vacation. Whenever you plan a trip to this place, the first and foremost question that you need to answer is about the mode of stay in that place. Although, there are so many options to stay in Hamptons, however not all are equally suitable for you. If you are going to that place with you family, then nothing can be a better option than to get a vacation rental in there.
The kids will enjoy the cable TV that is free when you stay and the internet to chat to friends online while away. Free parking is set up for you if you choose to rent a car in which the front desk has an agent waiting to help you out with transportation arrangements. The large pool is open to guests if there are little ones that are traveling in the family. You won’t need to go home with dirty clothes or wait to wash the new clothes that you just bought at the cool shops downtown. There are laundry facilities available for you and the family.
Six Flags Great Adventure-Jackson, New Jersey: This might not exactly be the closest destination if you are staying in New York City, but it is worth the drive, believe me. Of course, there are Six Flags theme parks all around the country, but it is always worth it to check one out. For all of you roller coaster nuts out there, there are a great deal of different ones to choose from, all of which are extremely thrilling. For a personal recommendation, I would suggest checking out the Batman and Robin ride. The line can be extremely long, but by the time you get off this hair raising ride, you will be glad you waited.
Don’t miss Villagefest, the weekly downtown street fair in Palm Springs. Do a little shopping from local vendors and enjoy the street performers. Regular downtown businesses stay open late that night, as well. This is a Palm Springs tradition you won’t want to miss. The Palm Spring Zoo, or “living desert” as it is sometimes called, is a must see with its desert exhibits and animals. The aerial tramway travels up to the top of the San Jacinto Mountains for a spectacular scenic ride. Enjoy the nightlife of gambling and entertainment at the Palm Springs Casinos.
